Workshops

We host workshops year-round to share the beauty and craft of fine art printmaking. Our sessions focus on woodcut and monotype techniques, guiding participants through the fundamentals of each medium. Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to expand your skills, you’ll leave with original prints you’ve created—ready to take home and enjoy.

Woodcut printing is a relief printmaking technique where an image is carved into the surface of a wooden block, with the non-image areas cut away so that only the raised design holds ink. The block is then inked, and paper is pressed against it—either by hand or with a press—to transfer the design.

A monotype is a one-of-a-kind print made by painting, drawing, or rolling ink directly onto a smooth surface—like glass, plexiglass, or metal—and then transferring the image to paper, usually through a press. Unlike most printmaking techniques, monotypes produce a single, unique impression rather than an edition, making each one as individual as a painting.

note: We Require Minimum of 6 people per workshop

Does this mean you need a party of 6 to register? Nope! We just need to have a minimum of 6 people total to move ahead with the workshop. Should we not reach this number, you will be notified and refunded.
