Sasicha  Jamie  Rubesch

While studying Electronic Art in Colombia, Rubesch began learning woodcut and etching and quickly became fascinated by printmaking. She is particularly drawn to the tension between carefully controlling the many variables involved in the process and embracing the unpredictable results that emerge. Inspired by the textures and colors she encounters in her surroundings, especially those found in nature, her work explores the visual richness of the world around her.
